Branchburg, NJ-Mercer softball shut out Raritan Valley 17-0 in Game 1 of their doubleheader. Sophomore Stella Logan (Trenton, NJ/Allentown) went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs and freshman Karisa Krawiec (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) had 2 RBIs and scored three runs. Sophomore pitcher Jozalyn Sheipe-Warthen (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) struck out eight in four innings.
